A note can be written on any paper, but when you use a richly embossed vellum it is just that much nicer. If you haven’t used a fountain pen in a while - or ever for that matter, give it a try.
My favorite is my red and black Lamy Safari that has been discontinued, but for very special occasions I use my hand blown glass pen. Sometimes while I am writing I will have just a wee dram of my favorite libation
